In Pakistan, Mahnoor, the daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is set to marry on Saturday. The nikah ceremony is planned to be held at the family residence in Jati Umra, Dawn reported, citing a family source.
Private ceremony
According to the publication’s source, Mahnoor’s marriage has been arranged with a member of a prominent business family. The event is expected to be private, with close family members and other relatives among the guests.
Mahnoor has largely remained out of the public eye. The Sharif family has not disclosed details of an official reception or other wedding events.

Trip to London
The wedding will take place shortly after Maryam Nawaz’s trip to London, where she attended her daughter’s graduation ceremony. She returned to Lahore on Wednesday after the event.
Mahnoor’s brother, Junaid Safdar, married Shanzeh Ali Rohale — the granddaughter of former legislator Sheikh Rohale Asghar — in January. Celebrations marking his second marriage lasted several days and were held at the Sharif family estate in Jati Umra.
