In Pakistan, Rawalpindi police chief orders arrest of those involved in boy's murder
In Gujar Khan, Pakistan, Rawalpindi City Police Officer Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera ordered the immediate arrest of those involved in the murder of eight-year-old Mohammad Ayan. Police found the boy's body in a well on Wednesday, Dawn reports.
Investigation in Gujar Khan
Sukhera visited the crime scene and received information from police officer Syed Daniyal Hassan. According to police, the boy was an orphan and went missing from his home in the Dhok Ali Shan area of Gujar Khan on Tuesday.

The police chief instructed investigators to use all resources to detain those involved as soon as possible. Police spokesperson Mirza Khurram said law enforcement officers are considering all possible motives for the murder and carrying out raids at various locations.
Separate case in Kallar Syedan
Meanwhile, Judge and Magistrate Sidra an-Nissa extended the detention of three suspects for investigative actions. They include madrasa teachers. They are suspected of allegedly torturing a nine-year-old boy to death at a religious school last week.
