In Poland, ABW detains five current and former Orlen managers — RMF24
According to RMF24, officers of Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) detained five current and former managers of Orlen. Those detained include a former member of the company’s management board who held the position from 2018 to 2024.
The investigation has been ongoing for more than two years
The detentions took place on Monday on the instructions of a prosecutor from the Łódź branch of the National Prosecutor’s Office. The National Prosecutor’s Office reported the actions on Tuesday.

The detainees were charged as part of an investigation that has been ongoing for more than two years. It concerns suspected unjustified reductions in fuel prices between August and November 2023.
Procedural actions are continuing
The National Prosecutor’s Office said that the investigation and procedural actions are continuing. Additional information is to be released after these actions are completed.
