Starting next week, fuel prices in Poland will be temporarily reduced

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the resumption of the “Lower Fuel Prices” (CPN) program. The measure will be in effect from Monday, August 17, through August 31, to ease the financial burden on drivers during the mass return from summer vacations.

According to the prime minister, thanks to a temporary reduction in the VAT rate on fuel from 23% to 8%, the price of gasoline and diesel at gas stations will decrease by approximately 90 groszy to 1 zloty per liter. Tusk emphasized that this decision will make Poland one of the absolute leaders in Europe in terms of the lowest fuel prices.
