A suspect in the murder of a Russian artist has been arrested in Poland
On June 20, a court in Poland ruled to remand a 36-year-old Georgian citizen in custody; he is suspected of murdering Russian opposition artist Semyon Skrepetsky. According to the Lublin police, the pretrial detention order was issued for three months while the investigation is ongoing.
The police noted that the 36-year-old Georgian citizen was taken into custody for the murder of a 44-year-old man.
“Today, the Lublin-West District Court in Lublin ordered the 36-year-old suspect to be held in pretrial detention for a period of three months. The man faces life imprisonment,” the Lublin Police stated.
