Well-known Kazakh rapper Kisl-Solodky has gone missing in Thailand

Kazakh rapper Kisl-Solodky has gone missing in Thailand. He has not been in contact for over a month. He was last seen on the streets in an unstable state.

According to Telegram channels, 27-year-old Darkhan Zhumabek (the artist’s real name) flew to Pattaya with a friend and was supposed to fly to Phuket to shoot two music videos, which were scheduled to begin on June 20. However, he never arrived at the designated location.

According to his team, neither the musician’s friend nor his family or colleagues know where he is now—Darkhan has been out of contact since early May. Currently, the search for him is underway in two cities simultaneously.

He was last seen on surveillance footage near Pattaya Beach. In the footage, he was wandering down the street, swaying from side to side, and knocking on doors. Videos have also appeared online showing the rapper looking disoriented—he was wandering aimlessly, waving his bag around, sitting on the ground, and rubbing his legs with his hands.

Kyslo-Solodkyi is an underground rap artist on the Kazakh- and Russian-speaking scene, known for his collaborations with Bonah, Lizer, Alisha, White Punk, Vitey AK, BATO, and other artists.

As a reminder, earlier this year, Ukrainian citizen Igor Komarov—whom the media has identified as the son of an influential businessman from Dnipro—was kidnapped and killed at another well-known resort. He went missing on February 15, 2026, near the village of Jimbaran. Subsequently, horrific video footage began to appear online: in the footage, a beaten Komarov begged his relatives to transfer $10 million for his release.

The prolonged search for the 28-year-old Komarov ended with official confirmation of his death. The results of the forensic medical examination and DNA analysis conducted at the National Center for Forensic Science in Jakarta proved that the dismembered remains found on February 26 near Ketewel Beach were indeed his.

In May 2026, the private company Focus reported progress in the case of Igor Komarov’s murder.
