In the U.S., an 11-year-old boy was recognized as the world's youngest museum curator
The Guinness World Records has officially recognized 11-year-old Anderson Taylor of Cambridge, Illinois, as the world’s youngest museum curator.
Anderson founded the Cambridge Museum of Natural History on August 10, 2024, when he was 9 years and 340 days old.
Inspired by a trip to Scotland and a local dinosaur museum, the boy secured a former fire station building, where he housed a collection of fossils, minerals, and natural history exhibits. He is currently the sole owner and curator of the museum, is raising funds to purchase the building, and dreams of becoming a paleontologist in the future.
