A fire broke out at a fuel terminal in Turkey, leaving one person dead and others injured
On May 14, a fire broke out at a fuel terminal in the city of Mersin in southern Turkey. One person was killed and two others were seriously injured in the incident.

“The fire broke out at a fuel storage facility in the Akdeniz district of Mersin. As a result of the fire, one person died and two others suffered serious injuries,” the report states.

Eleven fire trucks, 11 tanker trucks, five water cannons, and four water tankers were deployed to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
