Video: Ukraine's Shmavik and Defiant missiles take the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition in Paris by storm
Ukrainian defense companies showcased unique unmanned aerial systems and cruise missiles at the prestigious Eurosatory 2026 international exhibition in Paris.
Western partners showed particular interest in heavy strike platforms, the “Shmavik” reconnaissance systems, and a line of high-precision weapons from the joint European-Ukrainian Defiant project.
The equipment on display was developed based on real-world experience in modern combat conditions.
Among the Ukrainian participants at the international event, companies belonging to the NAUDI association showcased their products, including the well-known company “Reactive Drones.”
They presented the “Kazhan” heavy strike unmanned aerial vehicle, which features a unique system designed to withstand enemy electronic warfare.
Thanks to the use of several alternative communication channels, this UAV is capable of effectively carrying out missions in conditions of intense electronic warfare activity.
The company also showcased its multi-purpose reconnaissance drone, the “Shmavik,” which has already proven its effectiveness on the battlefield.
According to the developers, Ukrainian systems have generated significant interest from European and American partners in the context of the platforms’ future entry into international markets.
The real highlight of the exhibition was the presentation of the joint European-Ukrainian Defiant project, which showcased a line of affordable and high-precision weapons.
The manufacturers created the versatile Defiant H20 rocket platform, which serves as the basis for several specialized variants.
The Defiant H20i Falsa model serves as a decoy with artificially enhanced radar signature to effectively wear down enemy air defense systems.
The Defiant H20B Lamina tactical cruise missile, equipped with a rocket engine, is capable of delivering a 3-kilogram warhead up to 180 kilometers away with surgical precision.
To counter enemy strike drones, the autonomous Defiant H20i Sombra interceptor, equipped with artificial intelligence, has been developed to destroy “Shahed”-type drones at ranges of up to 100 kilometers.
Long-range aerial reconnaissance is provided by the Defiant H20 Arcana variant, equipped with a Japanese 4-stroke engine, which can remain airborne for up to 18 hours and cover distances of up to 2,000 kilometers.
In addition to light jet systems, the Defiant project has introduced a powerful lineup of heavy-class operational-tactical and strategic strike platforms.
The low-noise H40 Vale Electro electric kamikaze drone carries 22.5 kilograms of explosives over a distance of up to 200 kilometers.
The heavy jet-powered drone H80 JET Vipera, with a 60-kilogram warhead, reaches speeds of up to 400 kilometers per hour, making it virtually invulnerable to mobile air defense systems at ranges of up to 580 kilometers.
The H160 (Rayo) series is capable of carrying out strategic missions, delivering 100 kilograms of explosives over a range of up to 2,000 kilometers.
The largest system in the lineup is the Defiant Magnus, based on a full-size four-seat aircraft, which can carry up to 300 kilograms of guided bombs or missiles.
