Two men die in two crashes in Adelaide in one day

In Adelaide, Australia, two men died on Saturday in two unrelated crashes. As ABC News Australia reports, the number of road deaths in the state of South Australia reached 79 after these incidents.

Motorcyclist killed

Emergency services were called to Coromandel Valley shortly before 4:00 p.m. following a report of a crash involving a motorcycle. According to South Australia Police, a 41-year-old motorcyclist from Munno Para died at the scene.

Pedestrian crash

Several hours later, in another incident in Hackham, a car struck a pedestrian. Police said the driver left the scene and arrived at the police station in Christies Beach.

The pedestrian, a 60-year-old Hackham resident, also died at the scene. Investigations into both crashes are ongoing. By comparison, 87 people died on South Australian roads during the whole of 2025, and 89 in 2024.
