Police search for shooter after Berkeley Vale shooting in Australia
In Australia, police are searching for a shooter after a 37-year-old man was injured at a home on Lakedge Avenue in Berkeley Vale, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Officers were called to the scene at 6:15, where they found the victim with gunshot wounds to his arm and torso.
The man was treated by paramedics from NSW Ambulance before being transported to hospital by air. As ABC News reports, police believe the shooting was a targeted attack.
Police version
Commander of the Tuggerah Lakes Police District, Superintendent Chad Gillies, said investigators have not yet established the motive for the attack. According to him, the victim was known to police, but officers have not yet determined whether the shooting is linked to gang activity.

According to police, a man entered the home and encountered the victim, after which several shots were fired. The injured man's partner was inside the home during the shooting; investigators are speaking with her and other witnesses.
Search for vehicle
Detectives want to speak with the driver of a silver GWM four-wheel-drive pickup truck with roof rails and a roll bar, which was seen in the area during the shooting. Police believe there was one man in the vehicle who may be involved in the attack. He is described as being in his late teens or early 20s and wearing a balaclava.
Officers are also reviewing CCTV footage near the scene and are urging anyone with information about the vehicle or the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
