Train service from Tallinn to the east has been suspended in Estonia due to damage to the rail network
In Estonia, Elron train service from Tallinn eastward was suspended for at least half a day due to damage to the newly constructed overhead lines between Kohtla-Nõmme and Püssi, according to ERR News.
The first morning train, traveling from Narva to Tallinn, came to a stop on the section between Kohtla-Nõmme and Püssi and was unable to continue toward the capital. Kristo Mäe, communications director for the passenger rail operator Elron, stated that the overhead lines were damaged overnight.

Passengers were to be transported to their destinations by bus as quickly as possible. Elron also announced that it would organize replacement bus services as needed until rail service is restored.
Estonian Railways (EVR), the owner of the rail infrastructure, expected to complete repairs by noon. Passengers whose trains were delayed by 30 minutes or more can apply for a refund through the Elron website. The carrier urged passengers to monitor the latest information on train service and apologized for the inconvenience.
