Violation of arrest terms
According to prosecutors, Adinolfi's activity on social media created a risk of repeated offenses and possible interference with evidence. In July, he was placed under house arrest in a case involving alleged fraud and tax offenses.

Complaints about betting group
The investigation began after complaints from people who gave Adinolfi substantial sums of money. They believed they were participating in the Scommessa Collettiva sports betting group promoted on social media, but did not receive the promised profit.
Adinolfi is the founder and leader of the ultraconservative People of the Family (PdF) party, as well as a high-level poker player. According to ANSA, he is known for provocative positions and high-profile actions. In particular, in June he attended Rome Pride with a large Israeli flag, after which he was insulted.
