Cases of election fraud have been reported in Hungary

The Hungarian organization "Clean Elections," part of the non-governmental Civil Liberties Union, identified violations at some polling stations during the parliamentary elections.

This is stated on the “Clean Elections” organization’s Facebook page.

Specifically, the following is reported:

  • In the town of Hajdúsámson, unknown individuals are accompanying elderly people, claiming that the elderly asked for help while voting.
  • In Mako, the same cars have been circling polling stations since voting began this morning. Locals say that the organizers of the transportation are coordinating their actions with members of the Roma minority’s local government and representatives of the Fidesz party.
  • Media reports indicate that at the correctional facility in Tekel, near Budapest, supporters of the Tisa party are being prevented from voting. According to relatives, the ballot box was removed.
  • In the cities of Miskolc and Kazincbarcika, packages were being distributed. In particular, in Kazincbarcika, a photo was taken showing Fidesz party candidate Zoltán Demeter handing out packages of unknown contents to voters.
  • In Dunaujvaros, at one of the polling stations, voters are receiving ballots on which the name of a candidate who has not withdrawn his candidacy has not been crossed out. For example, Democratic Coalition candidate Zsolt Szabo withdrew in favor of Tisa candidate Ervin Nady.

As a reminder, in Hungary, the opposition has a chance to defeat Orbán for the first time in many years.

The opposition party “Tisza” has a chance to win two-thirds of the seats in the Hungarian parliament in the April 12 elections, which would allow it to amend the constitution and key laws.

As a reminder, despite Orbán’s blocking, Ukraine will receive 90 billion: IPA President Galina Heylo on the EU’s plans to finance the country.

Balázs Orbán, political director to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, assured that Ukraine does not pose a military threat to his country.
