Video: In Turkey, a former student opened fire at a high school and then took his own life
A shooting occurred at a high school in the province of Şanlıurfa, Turkey, leaving at least 16 people injured.
This was reported by Hürriyet.
The incident took place in the city of Siverek—an attacker armed with a hunting rifle burst into the school building and opened fire indiscriminately.
According to local authorities, the injured include teachers and students, four of whom are in moderate condition.

After the police arrived, the attacker committed suicide.
According to reports, the shooting was carried out by a former student of the high school born in 2007.
The motives for the attack remain unknown at this time.
At a school in the Leninsky District of Chelyabinsk, a ninth-grader carried out an attack using a signal pistol.
The suspect in the shooting near the Anapa Industrial Technical School is 17-year-old student Ilya O., according to the Telegram channels “Ostorozhno, Novosti,” “VChK-OGPU,” and Baza.
