President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the consequences of the war in Iran are exacerbating energy risks. According to him, this is having a negative impact on preparations for the upcoming heating season.
The head of state made these remarksduring a jointpress conferencewith Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
"There is not a single country that is not feeling the consequences of the war in Iran. The cost of living is rising everywhere. Everyone is feeling it. Energy risks are increasing. And this undoubtedly worsens social conditions and preparations for the coming winter," he said.

"It is important that after this war, security increases rather than decreases, and that the interests of every nation are respected," he noted.
The president added that Ukraine is already contributing to stabilizing the situation in the Gulf region.
"We are working with relevant countries, teams, and leaders to protect against suicide attacks and to develop their defenses," he said.
