The new head of the British Ministry of Defense has arrived in Kyiv and is preparing a new Ramstein
British Defense Minister Wes Streeting made his first visit to Kyiv since taking office. He came to personally assess Ukraine’s needs ahead of winter and determine the next steps for military support.
In an interview with “Suspilne,” the British official said he plans to hold a “Ramstein” format meeting as early as September and organize the next meeting in early October.
During his stay in Kyiv, Streeting is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Defense Minister Denys Khmara. He also noted that he had already spoken with his Ukrainian counterpart following his appointment and, on his way to the Ukrainian capital, discussed further assistance with partners in Paris and Copenhagen.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with the “State Logistics Operator,” is preparing to update the technical specifications for individual food rations. The changes are based on the results of a survey conducted via the “Army+” app, in which over 60,000 military personnel participated.
