Oleksandr Konotopskyi, a business partner of Defense Minister Fedorov has gained control of the Censor portal, according to media reports
Operational control of the media portal “Censor.net” has been transferred to Oleksandr Konotopskyi, a business partner of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
The “Censor.net” trademark belongs to the Institute of Strategic Programs LLC, whose co-owners are Oleksandr Turchynov’s son, Kyrylo Turchynov, and his wife’s sister, Raisa Vyshnevska. Serhiy Pashynsky—the owner of the Ministry of Defense’s largest supplier, with contracts totaling 90 billion hryvnias—previously exercised informal control over nearly half of the portal. It is precisely this share that has now come under the control of Oleksandr Konotopsky.
The total value of defense contracts held by Konotopsky and Fedorov’s group is estimated at 60 billion hryvnias.
This was reported by the Telegram channel Bond News.
Oleksandr Konotopsky is the chairman of the supervisory board and founder of Ajax Systems, an international technology company and Europe’s largest manufacturer of security systems.
The company is actively developing a logistics hub in Poland and investing in teams in countries such as Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, South Africa, and the UAE.
