Zelenskyy announced a prisoner exchange and provided details
Another 185 Ukrainian defenders are returning home today from Russian captivity. One civilian is also returning with the defenders. These are soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and the State Border Guard Service. Privates, sergeants, and officers, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced.
They defended our country in Mariupol and at Azovstal, as well as in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kyiv, and Kursk regions. Among them are those returning after years of Russian captivity, where they have been held since 2022.
Thank you to everyone who makes this possible: the team handling the exchanges, our partners. And special thanks to the soldiers who replenish our exchange fund—with their strength and achievements on the front lines, they ensure the return of our people home. The work continues. The return of our people remains an unwavering priority for Ukraine. We work every day to free every Ukrainian man and woman from captivity, he wrote on Telegram.

As a reminder, Ukraine has already managed to return 2,126 children abducted by Russia as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
