BMW unveils 603-horsepower iX3 M60 — Motor1
BMW has unveiled the iX3 M60, the flagship version of the new all-electric iX3 crossover. The model is equipped with two electric motors, produces 603 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 62 mph takes 3.9 seconds, while the top speed is 149 mph, Motor1 reports.
Two electric motors and a battery
The iX3 M60 uses BMW's sixth-generation M eDrive system, with one electric motor installed on each axle. The rear motor is an electrically excited synchronous unit and has a more powerful 420-amp inverter. The usable capacity of the traction battery is 112.2 kWh.
The manufacturer has not yet disclosed an official EPA range figure for the iX3 M60. The standard iX3 version in the United States is listed with a range of up to 434 miles.

Suspension, modes and equipment
The crossover received adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled dampers, sport steering with a variable ratio, and an electronically controlled M Sport differential on the rear axle. The model also features separate spring and damper settings, front body reinforcement, and modified front anti-roll bar links.
Boost Mode and M Mode buttons are located on the steering wheel. M Sport and M Sport Plus modes are available for the iX3 M60, changing the settings of the powertrain, chassis and steering. The vehicle will come standard with 21-inch M wheels, while 22-inch M aerodynamic wheels will be available only for the M Performance version.
The interior features a 17.9-inch central display, as well as the BMW Panoramic Vision system, which projects information onto the lower section of the windshield. Production of the BMW iX3 M60 is expected to begin in spring 2027, with orders in the United States opening in late January. BMW has not yet announced the model's price or its official EPA range.
