Italy remains a backup option for BYD's second plant in Europe
In Italy, Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD continues to view the country as a backup option for the location of its second European plant after the facility in Hungary. This was stated by the company's special adviser in Europe, Alfredo Altavilla, ANSA English reports.
France and Spain among candidates
According to Altavilla, France and Spain are also on the shortlist of possible locations for BYD's second plant in Europe. He noted that the company, like other manufacturers, is studying sites in various European countries.

Denza dealer network
The statement was made during the opening of a Denza dealership in Turin, which will serve northwestern Italy. It is the second of 12 dealerships scheduled to open in Italy by 2027. The total number of such centers in Europe is expected to reach 350.
