JAC Motors SA in South Africa extends service plan to seven years at no extra cost
JAC Motors SA in South Africa has extended the validity period of its vehicle service plan from five to seven years, while keeping the 100,000 km mileage limit unchanged. The updated terms apply both to new buyers and to owners of vehicles with active service plans.
Terms of the updated plan
The service plan will remain valid for up to seven years or until the vehicle reaches 100,000 km, whichever comes first. Buyers of used JAC vehicles can also use it if the service plan for the vehicle remains active.
As TimesLIVE reports, the change primarily affects drivers with low annual mileage: they will have more time to complete the full manufacturer-recommended maintenance schedule.

What the service includes
Each scheduled service includes the use of genuine JAC parts, approved lubricants, air filters and spark plugs, as well as the completion of scheduled work. During servicing, vehicles will also have their fluid levels, belts, hoses and lighting equipment checked.
JAC Motors SA CEO Karl-Heinz Goebel said the decision was made following customer feedback. According to him, the extension of the plan is intended to give owners more flexibility and also applies to existing customers with active service plans.
