Lamborghini has unveiled a high-performance version of its flagship supercar, the Revuelto—the Revuelto SV. The abbreviation SV stands for Superveloce, or “super-fast,” according to The Verge.
The Superveloce designation has a long history in the Italian brand’s lineup. It was used for the 1971 Miura SV, as well as for more powerful versions of the Diablo, Murciélago, and Aventador. Now, the Revuelto—Lamborghini’s flagship V12-powered model—has also received this designation.

The Revuelto SV is a high-performance evolution of the base model. The car retains its hybrid-electric powertrain. Lamborghini is positioning the new model under the slogan “quantum of driving.”
Alessandro Farmeschi, Revuelto Product Director, explained that this concept is meant to convey a sense of unity between the driver and the car. According to him, the driving experience emphasizes acceleration, braking, G-forces, and focus on the road.
