Rain is expected in Kyiv until morning; a yellow alert has been issued

Heavy precipitation is expected in Kyiv through the morning, prompting the issuance of a "yellow" alert. The city will continue to be affected by inclement weather. Forecasters are warning of heavy rain, possible traffic disruptions, and are urging people to be cautious.

A warning about dangerous weather conditions was issued in Kyiv on the evening of June 8.

According to forecasters, heavy rain is expected in the capital by the end of the day and overnight on June 9.

In connection with this, the city has been placed on the first, “yellow,” danger level.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center noted that heavy precipitation could disrupt operations at energy, construction, and utility companies. Traffic disruptions are also possible.

However, the rainy weather will not be limited to just tonight. According to forecaster Natalka Didenko, it will also rain periodically in Kyiv on June 9 due to the influence of an atmospheric front.

Daytime temperatures will be around +22...+23°C.

Overall, the coming days in Ukraine will be dominated by humid weather with occasional rain. At the same time, the air will remain fairly warm, and in the south and east of the country, it will be hot and muggy in some places due to high humidity.
