Klitschko Initiated the Dismissal of Bakhmatov, Head of the Desnyansky District State Administration
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has appealed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, proposing to initiate disciplinary proceedings against Maksym Bakhmatov, head of the Desnianskyi District State Administration, and to consider his dismissal.
The appeal cites possible displays of disrespect toward representatives of Kyiv’s local community, violations of ethical standards of conduct, and actions that, in the opinion of the city authorities, undermine the authority of the civil service.
The appeal was prompted by numerous complaints from citizens regarding Bakhmatov’s activities and conduct, as well as a petition from the Association of Entrepreneurs and Veterans of Ukraine demanding his dismissal.

Klitschko emphasized the need to conduct an appropriate personnel and disciplinary review of the official’s actions.

The final decision regarding the disciplinary proceedings and Bakhmatov’s continued tenure in office is to be made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
