In Kyiv, a car fell off a bridge; the driver was killed
In the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, an Opel fell off a bridge, killing the driver. Rescue workers had to extricate the victim’s body from under the vehicle.
Rescue workers received a report of the traffic accident on September 13 at 10:41 p.m.
According to preliminary information, the Opel fell off a bridge on Promyslova Street in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital.
The driver of the car died as a result of the accident.
Rescue workers from the State Emergency Service were on the scene of the accident.
“At the scene, rescue workers worked to free the body of the deceased driver from under the vehicle,” the report states.
The victim’s body was recovered from beneath the car following special emergency rescue operations.
Law enforcement officials will investigate the circumstances and causes of the tragic accident in Kyiv.

Over the past year, nearly 26,000 traffic accidents resulting in fatalities and injuries were recorded in Ukraine, with speeding being one of the main causes. In light of this, the Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to strengthen enforcement and impose stricter penalties on habitual traffic violators.
Undercover officers detected nearly 1,800 traffic violations in Kyiv and the surrounding region in a single day.
