A man in the Kyiv region has been charged with possession of a grenade and TNT
In the village of Baryshivka in the Kyiv region, law enforcement officers apprehended a 49-year-old man who was illegally storing ammunition and explosives in his garage.
According to police, during a search, they discovered an F-1 grenade casing with a detonator, TNT blocks, and a smoke grenade.
The man was detained and charged. He faces up to seven years in prison.
The suspect is currently being held in a temporary detention facility.
Earlier, in the town of Storozhynets, Chernivtsi region, a man was detained for throwing a combat grenade at police officers.
As a reminder, on the night of February 13, in the town of Vynogradiv, Zakarpattia Oblast, an explosion occurred on the grounds of a private residence where the family of a local police operative unit employee lives.
