A court in Kyiv ordered the return of land valued at over 2.2 million hryvnias
The Podil District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv prevented, through the courts, the potential transfer of a land plot out of municipal ownership. On May 22, the court revoked the state registration of an individual’s ownership rights to a non-existent residential building on Syretska Street, as well as the registration of the land plot on which it was allegedly located. The value of the plot exceeds 2.2 million hryvnias.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
It was established that in July 2021, based on forged documents, an individual became the owner of a residential building in the Podilskyi district of the capital, which does not actually exist. The purpose of these actions was to take possession of the land under this “property.”
Consequently, to prevent the possible removal of the land plot from municipal ownership, the prosecutor’s office had the illegal registration of the “house” and the land annulled in court.
As a reminder, the prosecutor’s office had previously invalidated in court the registration of ownership rights to a similar non-existent property registered on a neighboring plot with a similar address.
