Rain and thunderstorms are forecast for Kyiv and the surrounding region – weather forecasters warn
On May 19, cloudy weather with some sunny intervals is expected in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, with brief showers and thunderstorms in some areas.
According to forecasters, weather conditions may disrupt the operation of certain infrastructure facilities, particularly energy companies. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warns of increased danger due to unstable weather conditions.
The wind will be northwesterly, 5–10 m/s. Daytime temperatures in the region will range from 21–26°C; in Kyiv, 23–25°C.
Residents of the capital and the region are warned of dangerous meteorological phenomena: thunderstorms are expected on May 19 during the day (Level I danger, yellow).
Forecasters warn that weather conditions may disrupt the operations of energy companies.
