Emergency power outages have begun in the capital, which means that the scheduled rolling blackouts are currently suspended.
This was announced by YASNO CEO Serhiy Kovalenko.
DTEK has also officially confirmed the implementation of emergency measures. Energy companies are working to stabilize the situation on the grid.
Prior to this, Ukrenergo reported that no electricity consumption restrictions were expected in Ukraine on April 6, 2026.
On April 3, emergency power outages were implemented in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine following a massive Russian strike.
