A petition calling for restrictions on free public transportation for retirees has been filed in Kyiv
A petition has appeared on the Kyiv City Council’s website proposing to set a limit on free public transportation for retirees in the capital.
The author of the petition proposes limiting the number of free rides, believing that this will help reduce the burden on the transportation system and contribute to lowering fares for the economically active population.
The petition was registered on July 21. For the Kyiv City Council to consider it, 6,000 signatures must be collected within 60 days. As of July 22, 88 people had signed the petition.
