A man carrying a knife was detained at a high school in Kyiv
In Kyiv, employees of the “Municipal Security Service” detained a man who entered one of the high schools carrying a knife. The incident occurred in the morning; none of the students or school staff were injured.
According to security personnel, the man appeared disoriented and claimed that he was being pursued by unknown individuals. At first, a security guard managed to convince him to put down the knife, but later the visitor began acting aggressively again and tried to proceed further down the school’s hallways.
Employees of “Municipal Security” restrained the man until the police and medical personnel arrived. After an examination, doctors hospitalized him at a specialized medical facility, and law enforcement officers confiscated the knife.
