VIDEO: Heavy rain floods Akademika Kukhar Street in Kyiv
Heavy rainfall in Kyiv has caused flooding on the roadway along Akademika Kukhara Street. Traffic is moving slowly in both directions on this stretch of road.
This was reported by Oleksiy Biloshitsky, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department.
According to him, heavy rainfall has caused significant water accumulation on the road, making it very difficult for vehicles to pass.
Videos posted online show that some sections of the road are under water. Large vehicles and minibuses continue to move, but at a minimal speed. Some passenger cars have stopped due to the high water level.
The patrol police urged drivers to take road conditions into account when planning their routes and, if possible, to avoid the flooded section.
