The poet and soldier Pavlo Vyshebaba got married three months after they met

Renowned Ukrainian writer and military officer Pavlo Vyshebaba and blogger Anzhelika Kravets have officially tied the knot.

The couple held their ceremony in Ternopil, opting for a cozy stroll through the city instead of a traditional lavish reception.

Although the newlyweds have known each other for only about three months, their relationship developed extremely quickly.

The decision to marry came as a surprise even to the new family’s closest circle. The wedding day passed without any unnecessary fanfare: the couple strolled through the streets, visited bookstores, and enjoyed coffee.

“We got married and, as husband and wife, have already had coffee, bought books, and eaten vegan hot dogs,” Pavlo Vyshebaba wrote under a photo on his social media.

For the festive occasion, Pavlo chose an elegant checkered suit with a white shirt and a dark tie. Anzhelika appeared in an exquisite white lace dress with long sleeves and a classic veil.

However, one detail of the bride’s outfit deserved special attention—comfortable sneakers, which added a modern and casual touch.

Anzhelika Kravets also shared her emotions from the special day with her Instagram followers. “My deepest gratitude for this day goes to my husband, who did everything just as I wanted and made sure I was happy,” the writer noted.

Instead of traditional gifts, the couple turned to their audience with a charitable initiative. Pavlo Vyshebaba called on everyone to congratulate the couple by making a financial contribution to support the Ukrainian military.

“If you’d like to congratulate us—in the comments and on my profile, there’s an important fundraiser for my unit, ‘Minotaur’—we’d be grateful,” the groom noted.

In this way, the couple decided to turn their personal celebration into a meaningful cause for the front lines.
