Potap called Slava Dyomin a goose
Oleksiy Potapenko (Potap) suggested to his wife, Nastya Kamenskykh, that they start a segment where they could discuss and poke fun at Ukrainian celebrities.
The artist posted a video of this on TikTok. The couple’s entire conversation was in Russian.
Potap complained that over the past three and a half years, he and Kamenskykh had allegedly never publicly discussed their colleagues, even though they themselves were regularly the targets of jokes and criticism.
“Our colleagues—those we consider colleagues—have never once discussed us, never once mocked us, never once talked about us, and never once trashed us. But strangers from some part of the entertainment industry—for example, the Ukrainian one—have allowed themselves to make snide remarks about us, tell jokes, and trash-talk us,” the artist stated.
After that, Potap suggested changing their approach.
“I have a suggestion: we haven’t said a single word about anyone for three and a half years. Maybe we should start looking at them and trashing them—otherwise, it just seems one-sided, doesn’t it? That would be interesting, wouldn’t it?” he said.
Kamenskikh didn’t support the idea.
“It’s not interesting at all,” the singer replied, calling such a format “terribly boring.”
Potap then gave a specific example and mentioned journalist and interviewer Slava Dyomin.
“Well, they’re people too—they’re shouting like that because they want us to notice them. Take Slava Dyomin, for example—let’s discuss what a ‘goose’ he is,” the showman declared.
He also decided to mock the host’s appearance: “Honestly, even the shape of his head isn’t interesting enough to discuss.”
Dyomin didn’t leave these words unanswered. In his Instagram Stories, he commented on Potap’s jokes about his appearance.
“Go f*ck yourself with your bald spot and the shape of your head. As far as I’m concerned, these are 2010-level jokes—that’s probably where Alexey’s mind is stuck,” the host wrote.
At the same time, Dyomin emphasized that he sees no point in talking about each other behind each other’s backs, since Potap and Kamenskykh have his phone number.
