In South Korea, Seventeen’s Dokyeom was due to begin military service
In South Korea, Dokyeom, also known as DK, a member of the K-pop group Seventeen, was due to arrive at a basic military training camp on Tuesday. His agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced this on the same day.
Military service
Dokyeom will become the sixth of Seventeen’s 13 members to enlist. He will serve on active duty in the army, Korea Herald reports.

The day before, the singer held a livestream during which he showed photos with his new short haircut and said goodbye to fans. He spoke with viewers, listened to music and apologized for his tears, adding that he himself did not understand their cause.
Other group members
Mingyu is due to begin mandatory service as a social service worker on Thursday. Seungkwan and Dino will enlist in the army military band on October 26. They will become the last members of Seventeen to begin service.
