Video: At the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the Veriovka Choir performed Kirill Stetsenko’s Liturgy
In the Refectory Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the Hryhorii Veryovka National Choir of Ukraine performed the “Liturgy for Choir and Folk Singing” by composer Kyrylo Stetsenko, composed over a century ago.
According to Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna, who attended the event, the performance of this work draws on Ukrainian spiritual traditions, involves artists and worshippers singing together, and contributes to the return of the Ukrainian language and musical heritage to the Lavra’s churches.

The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve partially resumed welcoming visitors on June 19 after several days of emergency rescue and disaster prevention work.
As a reminder, Russia attacked the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, causing a fire.
Prior to that, Russian drones struck the Zaporizhzhia region, leaving several people injured.
Five rescuers from the State Emergency Service were killed as a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv.
