PDVSA and TotalEnergies unit sign energy agreement in Venezuela — Anadolu Agency
In Caracas, Venezuela, state oil company PDVSA and TotalEnergies E&P New Ventures, a subsidiary of France's TotalEnergies, signed an agreement on cooperation in the energy sector. According to the presidential press service, the signing took place with the participation of Venezuela's acting president, Delcy Rodríguez.

The agreement was concluded at the Miraflores Palace by PDVSA President Héctor Obregón and TotalEnergies' senior vice president for the Americas, Francisco Javier Rielo. Venezuela's presidential press service reported the agreement, according to Anadolu Agency.
The terms and other details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Conditions for investment
Earlier, Rodríguez stated that Venezuela has reliable legal conditions for attracting new investment thanks to the Organic Hydrocarbons Law adopted this year.
Anadolu Agency described the signing as another oil agreement between international companies and Venezuela's new government. The agency also reported that these agreements are being concluded after the United States removed former President Nicolás Maduro in January.
