ERB Cyprialife holds training day for more than 420 insurance advisers in Cyprus — Cyprus Mail

Insurance company ERB Cyprialife held its second annual training day for its sales network in Lefkara, Cyprus. The event on September 11 at the Lefkara Multipurpose Conference Centre brought together more than 420 insurance advisers and administrative staff, Cyprus Mail reports.

Training and cooperation with Eurobank

The event was held under the motto “Believe — Dare — Succeed.” Takis Phidias, CEO of ERB Cyprus Insurance Holdings, congratulated the sales network on its strong performance since the beginning of the year. He also stressed the role of insurance as a tool for foresight, responsibility and protection amid uncertainty.

Phidias said that belonging to the Eurobank Group opens up opportunities for the development of ERB Cyprialife and its network. According to him, the company seeks to use the group’s resources to create value for customers, new opportunities for the network and the development of its companies.

Michalis Louis, CEO of Eurobank Ltd, described the development of the insurance business as one of the group’s important strategic priorities. He pointed to the potential for strengthening cooperation and synergies between the banking and insurance businesses.

Company performance and Paralympian’s speech

Andriani Kallimachou, General Manager of ERB Cyprialife, thanked the sales network and administrative staff. She said the company has ranked first for 12 consecutive years in terms of new regular life insurance premiums. Kallimachou presented the company’s performance indicators and business strategy, as well as its growth target for the end of the year.

Sales Director Giorgos Gogo spoke about the role and responsibility of professional insurance advisers and presented key performance indicators.

The event’s special guest was educator and Paralympic powerlifting athlete Maria Markou. In 2021, she won a silver medal at the World Cup in Tbilisi, finished seventh at the Tokyo Paralympics and ninth at the Paris 2024 Games. At the event, Markou spoke with Olympic weightlifting champion Pyrros Dimas about perseverance, belief in one’s goal and strength of character.
