Bayern Munich has set an all-time scoring record in Bundesliga history

Bayern Munich continues to rewrite the history of German soccer, reaffirming its status as the league’s most potent attacking force.

This is reported on the official Bundesliga website.

In the 29th round match, Vincent Kompany’s team did not just secure another victory, but surpassed a record that had been considered unbreakable for over five decades.

A crushing 5-0 victory over St. Pauli allowed the Munich side to officially secure the status of the highest-scoring team in the history of the championship.

The attack, led by Harry Kane, demonstrated ruthless efficiency, putting the record for most goals scored beyond question.

The previous benchmark had stood since the distant 1971–1972 season, when the legendary Munich squad managed to score 101 goals in a single campaign.

That mark seemed unbreakable, but the current generation of Bayern stars managed to raise the bar even higher with five matches remaining in the current campaign.

After the previous match against Freiburg, the team’s goal tally reached triple digits, stopping at 100.

To break the record, Kompany’s team needed to score at least twice in the remaining six rounds, but the task was accomplished in the very next match.

Five goals scored against St. Pauli set a new all-time high—105 goals in a single season.

Given that Munich still has five games left to play, the final tally could remain out of reach for competitors for many years to come.

An analysis of historical data confirms the club’s absolute dominance in Germany: all five of the top scoring records in the Bundesliga belong exclusively to Bayern.

Apart from the records set in 1972 and 2026, the 100-goal mark was surpassed only in the 2019/2020 season.

Shakhtar crushed AZ Alkmaar in 11 minutes in the Conference League quarterfinals.

As a reminder, Dynamo loaned Rubchynskyi to Karpaty.

Iran has also withdrawn from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
