Chernihiv will face Dynamo in the Ukrainian Cup final: where to watch the match
On Wednesday, May 20, the Arena Lviv stadium will host the final of the 2025/2026 Ukrainian Cup, featuring First League side Chernihiv and 13-time champions Dynamo Kyiv.
The match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m., and will be broadcast live on UPL TV.
Under the leadership of Valeriy Chorny, Chernihiv defeated a number of opponents on its way to the decisive match:

- "Kryvbas" (3-0 technical victory)
- "Lisne" (1:1, penalty shootout — 4:3)
- "Phoenix-Mariupol" (0:0, penalty shootout — 5:4)
- "Metalist 1925" (0:0, penalty shootout — 6:5)
Kyiv’s “Dynamo,” led by Ihor Kostyuk, defeated:
- Oleksandriya (2–1)
- Shakhtar (2:1)
- Ingulets (2–0)
- Bukovyna (3:0)
The last time the Kyiv team won the Ukrainian Cup was five years ago.
Oleksandr Shandor from Lviv has been appointed as the head referee for the final.

Donetsk’s Shakhtar has won the most Ukrainian Cups—15 trophies—followed by Kyiv’s Dynamo with 13 victories.
Odesa’s Chornomorets has two titles, while Poltava’s Vorskla and Simferopol’s Tavriya each have one.
Last season, the Ukrainian Cup was won by Shakhtar, which defeated Dynamo in a penalty shootout (6–5 after a 1–1 draw in regulation) in the final in Zhytomyr.
Luhansk’s Zorya and Zhytomyr’s Polissya ended their Ukrainian Premier League Matchday 29 clash on Monday, May 18, with a scoreless draw. Following this result, Polissya was unable to improve its position in the standings and remained in third place in the league.
