A Midtjylland soccer player underwent two surgeries after being stabbed
Alamara Jabbi, a Guinean midfielder for Midtjylland, was hospitalized in critical condition following a knife attack. He underwent emergency surgery, followed by another procedure, and was placed in an induced coma.
This was reported with reference to the club’s press service.
The incident occurred last weekend in Herning. The soccer player was admitted to the hospital in critical condition and underwent emergency surgery.
“He underwent another surgery, and thanks to the professional efforts of the emergency responders and then the hospital doctors, his condition is now stable. He has come out of the medically induced coma and, given the circumstances, is feeling well,” the club reported.
The 19-year-old Jabi has played for Midtjylland since September 2025. This season, the player has appeared in eight matches across various tournaments and has not scored any goals.
