Yaremchuk scored his first goal for Lyon in the French league
Ukrainian national team forward Roman Yaremchuk scored his first goal in Ligue 1, helping his club secure an important victory.
In the 29th round of the French championship, Lyon defeated Lorient 2-0, with the Ukrainian scoring the opening goal of the match.
The goal came early in the second half when Yaremchuk successfully anticipated the play in the opponent’s penalty area.
The forward demonstrated excellent play in the air, heading in a precise cross from Endrick on the right flank of the attack.
Thanks to this success, Roman Yaremchuk joined the elite list of Ukrainian footballers who have scored in France’s top division, becoming the sixth representative of our country to achieve this feat.
