Managing Director Julius Emunah leaves Hearts of Oak in Ghana
In Ghana, Accra Hearts of Oak football club Managing Director Julius Ben Emunah officially announced his resignation, ending a seven-month period at the club.
Work at the club
According to MyJoyOnline, Emunah took up the post on February 2, 2026, succeeding Dr. Delali Anku-Adiamah. Before joining Hearts of Oak, he was Head of Competitions at the Ghana Football Association.
His appointment in February was part of the club's plans to strengthen its administrative structure. Hearts of Oak noted Emunah's nearly decade-long experience in football administration, governance and sports management.

Statement after resignation
In a farewell message on Facebook, Emunah described the decision to leave the post as difficult. He thanked the club's board, led by Togbe Afede XIV, for its trust, as well as the National Chapter Committee (NCC) for its support during his tenure.
Emunah said that his resignation does not end his connection with the club: he will remain a supporter and is ready to assist Hearts of Oak in any possible role. He also expressed confidence that the club has a bright future.
