Ukrainian athlete Taisiia Onofriichuk won the bronze medal in the individual all-around final at the 2026 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. The competition is taking place in Varna, Bulgaria. Thanks to this achievement, Taisiia became the first Ukrainian gymnast in ten years to reach the podium at the European Championships in the individual all-around competition two years in a row.

This was reported by “Suspilne-Sport.”

In the all-around final at the 2026 European Championships, Onofriychuk confidently completed both rounds of the competition and scored 117.150 points across four routines. The Ukrainian placed fourth in the hoop and ball routines, and then took second place in the clubs and ribbon routines.

For 17-year-old Onofriychuk, this medal marks her second consecutive one in the all-around at the European Championships. In 2025, the Ukrainian won gold in this discipline, and has now added a bronze to her collection.

Thanks to this achievement, Taisiia became the first Ukrainian gymnast in ten years to reach the podium at the European Championships in the individual all-around twice in a row. Previously, Anna Rizatdinova had achieved a similar result, winning two consecutive bronze medals in 2014 and 2016.

The winner of the tournament was Germany’s Daria Varfolomeeva with a score of 120.150 points. The silver medal went to Bulgaria’s Stiliana Nikolova, who scored 118.750 points.

As a reminder, in March 2026, Taisiya Onofrychuk won four gold medals at the first stage of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, which took place in Sofia, Bulgaria. The athlete finished the competition with a record-breaking score.

Last July, Taisiia triumphed at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup stage in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, winning four medals—two gold and two silver.

The amount that gymnast Taisiya Onofrychuk earned for her performances at this year’s World Cup has been revealed.

Onopriychuk also won three medals at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup stage despite an injury.
