In Ghana, Hearts of Oak secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Bibiani GoldStars in their second match of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season. The team recovered after conceding and moved to the top of the standings thanks to a second consecutive win, MyJoyOnline reports.
GoldStars lead before halftime
The hosts opened the scoring in the 11th minute, with Kwame Poku scoring for GoldStars. The team started the game actively, but there were no more goals before the end of the first half despite both sides' attempts to change the score.

Two Hearts of Oak goals
In the seventh minute of the second half, Yaw Amankwa Baafi equalized for Hearts of Oak. Three minutes later, Henry Kwaku Boateng put Nebojsa Kapor's team ahead, 2-1.
Late in the match, GoldStars put pressure on their opponents in an attempt to come back, but failed to equalize. It was GoldStars' second defeat of the season, after previously losing to Bechem United. Hearts of Oak beat Berekum Chelsea in their opening league match.
