On Thursday, Ukraine will face Sweden for a spot in the 2026 World Cup playoff final
On March 26, the Ukrainian national soccer team will face Sweden in the semifinal playoff match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The match will take place in Valencia at the Estadio Ciutat de València. Kickoff is at 9:45 p.m. Kyiv time.
If they win, Serhiy Rebrov’s team will play in the playoff final on March 31 against the winner of the Poland-Albania match.
Artem Dovbyk, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Mykola Matvienko, Yevhen Konoplya, and Ruslan Malinovskyi are absent from Ukraine’s roster for the match. Alexander Isak and Dejan Kulusevski will not play for Sweden.

Ukraine last participated in the World Cup finals in 2006. In their previous head-to-head match in 2021, Ukraine defeated Sweden 2-1 in the Round of 16 of Euro 2020.
