In Australia, 26-year-old Zac Bailey has signed a new eight-year deal with reigning Australian Football League champions Brisbane Lions. He turned down an offer from Adelaide Crows and will remain with the club until the end of the 2034 season.

Bailey's new contract
Bailey has been named in the All-Australian team twice. This season, he has scored 31 goals and averaged 21.7 disposals per match, the best figure of his career.
On Saturday, Brisbane Lions will play Adelaide Crows in a semi-final at the Gabba Stadium in Brisbane. The winner of this match will face Hawthorn in the preliminary final.

Possible player moves
Meanwhile, 30-year-old ruckman Rowan Marshall wants to leave St Kilda. His contract with the club runs until the end of next season, while Geelong and Essendon are named among the main contenders for the player.
