A massive multi-car crash involving dozens of vehicles occurred during a NASCAR race in the U.S. state of Alabama. The incident took place at the Talladega Superspeedway in Lincoln.
Fox Sports reported this.
The crash occurred at the 115-kilometer mark when Ross Chastain clipped Bubba Wallace’s car. This triggered a “pileup” involving at least 27 cars.
Despite the scale of the incident, all drivers were able to exit their cars on their own. According to preliminary reports, no one suffered serious injuries.
Last September, during a NASCAR race in the U.S., driver Zane Smith’s car flipped at a speed of about 320 km/h and skidded along the track, grazing the track wall. The race was temporarily halted but later resumed.
It was also previously reported that Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will remain with the team until at least 2026.
