Meta has launched the Threads social media app for Meta Quest VR headsets. The new app is available for download in the Meta Store, according to The Verge.
In the app, users can browse feeds, create their own posts, like posts, and reply to posts. They can also view profiles, search, and watch videos.

Meta stated that it developed a separate native Threads app for Meta Quest to make the virtual reality experience more social. According to the company’s vision, the service can be used for quick check-ins between daily tasks, while gaming, or to discuss TV shows and music releases with friends.
The launch of Threads for VR headsets followed the app’s debut on Ray-Ban Display augmented reality glasses last month. It was also recently reported that Threads has surpassed the 500-million mark in monthly active users.
